Yay for free days. Today felt like a zoo day. Make sure to drive though, the muni takes for ever! Parking is way easy to find and the zoo lot is only 8 bucks if you do that.
Anyway, those are real party animals.

Best new years ever. Yummy food, intoxicating drinks, funny people, and fire works to top it off. I wish every one the fabulous new year.

Fancy party… for my aunt and uncle.
I went to the SFMOMA to see the Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adam’s show. Sadly I felt Ansel Adam’s black and white photos paled in comparison to the vivid colors of O’Keeffe’s paintings. The prints I have seen in books don’t give her paintings justice. Adam’s prints however demonstrate a brilliant eye for framing, lines and light. I truly understand why his work is so well know. I am now inspired to finish my painting, I think I want to paint bones now. I will post it once I am done. :-) I hope to be like Georgia O’keeffe when I am a old women. What a hilarious attitude. Check out the movie too if you go to the exhibit.
Had a great day on the lake boating for 6 hours. I wish I could get up on the wake board but it is a lot harder then it looks. Derek makes it look way too easy. Oh well next time. I had soooo much fun intertubing. I was laughing so hard I could barely breath. What an adrenaline rush!
Check out the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park. For 5 bucks you can board and get tours for some pretty sweet ships from all over. The tickets are good for a week, although I don’t think they check much. Right next to the fishermans warf.
We were hungry after and randomly went to Pompei’s Grotto. Great inexpensive lunch specials! For 12 bucks I got really yummy grilled salmon, pasta, veggies, and a cup or clam chowder. Yum Yum. Not bad for a tourist spot. The bar tender Steve was funny and definently knows his basebal.
I thought I try and keep up this blog. I recently got back from Maui, Hawaii and thought I share some of my fav photos from the trip. I love the flower’s shading which wasn’t even touched by photoshop. I am off to 24 hour to get lost in the Time Travelers Wife novel. I really like it so far.
