I went to the SFMOMA to see the Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adam’s show. Sadly I felt Ansel Adam’s black and white photos paled in comparison to the vivid colors of O’Keeffe’s paintings. The prints I have seen in books don’t give her paintings justice. Adam’s prints however demonstrate a brilliant eye for framing, lines and light. I truly understand why his work is so well know. I am now inspired to finish my painting, I think I want to paint bones now. I will post it once I am done. :-) I hope to be like Georgia O’keeffe when I am a old women. What a hilarious attitude.
